I had been reading every email but this one. For some reason I thought it was going to be to much for me to digest. Well I'm glad I took the time. Excellent substack! God's blessings
I've been collecting quotes since 2011. I just realized that my document is 89 pages long! That's what led me to think it'd be a good idea to share why those quotes were meaningful to me. A few people whose names show up frequently are Hudson Taylor, Charles Spurgeon, Jean Guyon, Tim Keller, and a large sampling from others. I'm looking forward to sharing them.

I’m glad you read, too! Thanks for your support, brother.
A beautiful reminder of how God wants us to think and act. What other authors of “words for the wise” do you enjoy and learn from?

Thank you for the reminder to be mindful of my thinking. Your words also encourage me to select more biographies.
Next on my listen "Team of Rivals" about Abe Lincoln, by Doris Kearns Goodwin
